A Safe Space

to Be Heard.

Counselling services provided by an HPCSA Registered Counsellor, making use of various different modalities and interventions.

Offering individual, group, family, and couples sessions in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town and via online sessions.

What is counselling?

According to the HPCSA, a Registered Counsellor provides psychological services to individuals, couples, families, and communities. This includes counselling, screening, psychoeducation, and preventative and restorative interventions.

Whilst a Registered Counsellor is trained to recognise more severe mental health concerns, their scope of practice focuses on support, referral, and wellbeing rather than diagnosis.

Counselling offers a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space to explore emotional difficulties, develop self-awareness, and build practical coping strategies. It is a collaborative process aimed at supporting you through life's challenges and helping you move toward greater clarity, balance, and emotional wellbeing.

Please note: Counselling is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment.

My Approach

An integrative approach, guided by your needs

I believe that no two people are the same, which is why I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. I draw on a range of counselling approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), developmental, person-centred, systemic, and trauma-informed approaches.

My goal is to provide a supportive and collaborative space where you can better understand yourself, develop practical coping strategies, and work through life's challenges. Whether you're navigating a difficult time or simply wanting to gain greater self-awareness, I aim to help you build resilience and move forward with confidence.

My journey into counselling is rooted in a deep passion for people, and a belief in the growth and development that comes with embracing change and life's challenges.

I am fluent in three languages: Afrikaans, English, and German, which allows me to work with a wonderfully diverse range of clients.

Values I bring to every session
